Landgoed Poelwijk

Important news

Open Monuments Weekend, 12 & 13 September – see the estate’s enormous diversity and visit the 15th-century gate tower, 11 am to 5 pm.

Activities

Small-scale, with character

Poelwijk is not an events venue – but it is a place where special things happen. We are open to new, small-scale initiatives.

Possibilities

What is possible at Poelwijk

Everything by arrangement, always with respect for nature and the tranquillity of the estate.

Music in the garden

Small concerts and living-room-style performances among the trees, on the meadow or in the greenhouse.

Photo shoots

Wedding, family and portrait shoots with the gate tower, the moat and the avenues as a backdrop.

Exhibitions

The office with exhibition space and the garden lend themselves to small art exhibitions.

Intimate weddings

A ceremony beneath the tower, arrival by carriage and drinks in the orchard – for small parties.

Welcome To My Garden

Cyclists and hikers passing through are welcome to camp overnight via Welcome To My Garden.

Open Monuments Weekend

Every September we open our gates during the national Open Monuments Weekend.

Business stays

Studio Zuidkant is available all year round for business arrangements and longer stays.

Edible landscape

We are happy to welcome anyone interested in permaculture and the edible landscape for a tour.

Helping out

Roll up your sleeves in the garden and food forest

Would you like to help us out in the garden or the food forest one day? We would love to hear from you. Pruning, harvesting, taking cuttings, trimming hedges – there is always work, and always coffee.

For those who want to stay longer: a stay in Studio Zuidkant in exchange for serious gardening work is negotiable, even outside the B&B season.

Tailor-made

Do you have an idea?

A garden day, a talk on biodiversity, a photography course, a small market with regional produce – if it suits the place, we are happy to talk further.

We only ask that initiatives remain small-scale and respect nature, the neighbours and the tranquillity of the estate.
